Dear friends, the transfiguration of our Lord Jesus Christ is a theophany -God’s self revelation – and divine manifestation of the foretaste of his Glory. The transfiguration is a message of hope and encouragement that amidst the confusions and changes of values that pervades our society. Suffering and death is not the end of life. It was the path to his glory. Like Jesus,we shall be transformed into glory. With the aid of the sacraments and words of God, we are already on the process of transfiguring. Our total transfiguration will be realized in heaven where with our glorified body, we will see God as he really is. May God grant us courage to keep listening to Christ the beloved Son ,through whom we shall all make it to heaven. Amen Happy Sunday
