Dear friends, if speaking is silver,says Turkish proverb then listening is gold. This is to say that listening is a great treasure to the one who has it. Listening is a great art which does great good to the one who uses it. One who listens and applys instructions will hardly be unsuccessful in his or her life endeavor. If this is true in our Ordinary life, the same applies to our spiritual life and our relationship with God. No one can truly be God’s friend if he or she does not listen to the voice of God. God’s voice speaks to us daily in our prayers, through his words in the Bible, through our neighbours and Ordinary events of life. This voice demands that we take an action like Abraham. May God give us the courage to open up to prompting of his voice and change for the better. Amen Happy Sunday
