Dear friends, Every authority is given. This is because every authority has a source. God is the Supreme source of all authority on earth. He gives his authority to men for his own purpose.The ultimate purpose is for his glory and service. The Service is primarily directed to God who desires the good of his creatures. One who is reposed with authority exercises it for God even it is carried out among Men. God bestowes his authority according to his choice and will. And God will surely require an account of our stewardship. This should impress on us not to abuse any authority given to us or be a party to those who do so. Happy Sunday
