Dear friends, the history of human salvation is the story of God’s merciful love. At each epoch, God shows us his mercy. The passion and death of Christ on the cross is the climax and height of God’s expressive mercy. Just like his love, his mercy never cease. It’s new every morning. It is only God’s mercy can give us total peace of mind. The early Christian were of one mind and heart, living in communal love and fending for the poorest of the poor because of having encountered the Mercy of God. That is to say that God’s mercy is boundless and transformational. May God give us the courage to always access his ocean of mercy at the sacrament of reconciliation and be channels and instruments of God’s mercy to others. Happy Divine Mercy Sunday
