Only Love is Important

Dear friends, the underpinning fact of our Lord’s summary of the law is this, that only love is important. That is, it is only love that matters  and is enough! only love is demanded from us! only love is sufficient!  This is  love of God and neighbour. Our love for God is total or complete without reservation. It is also visible in our love for our neighbour. This is to say to love God and hate our fellow man is an insufficient love.  It is sincere  love  of God and our neighbour will gain us salvation. This is because God will only  judge how much we have loved. only love will merit us a share in his kingdom. Only the one who is love can save us. Only his love can transform us.
