Dear friends, the season of lent is a time of God’s grace. God is extending his hands of friendship once more to us. He is calling us into the order of his new creations who were bought and purified by the blood of Christ. It is an invitation to reject every side attraction of the evil one and embrace God who is always faithful to us. Jesus’ temptation is an indication to us that Satan wants to break our relationship with God. His victory over the temptation and inducement of Satan is a hope and assurance to us that if we truly repent and believe in his gospel, we shall triumph. The time is fulfilled and kingdom of God is at hand. This is a moment of favour and grace from God. May God give us the wisdom not to waste this single opportunity of his love. Happy Sunday!
