Dear friends, the temple is a sign of divine presence. It is a home where God lives forever (1kg 8:13) . It is the meeting point between God and man. It is his presence that necessitates different divine worship and celebrations in the temple. Today, Jesus has supercede the old temple. Through his death and resurrection, He, who is God made flesh has become for us the point of contact with God. There is no need to offer sacrifices with blood of animals. He has offered himself as one single sacrifice that will last for ages. We’re also the new temple through our union and baptism. Let us ask God to give us the grace to follow his laws that will guide us always to be true to our status. Amen. Happy Sunday
