Dear friends, there may be times when we are confronted with the reality of sin and evil people among us. At times, they may seem to be succeeding and having upper hands in the affairs of our society. We tend to be puzzled at such things. Even, we seek clarification by questioning God. It is important to know that God is aware of all these things. Therefore, he is not asleep or uninterested in the affairs of man. He is patient and merciful to all especially to evil ones that they may repent and come to him. This is because God desires the salvation of all that he has created. At the end of time, God will gather all to reward the Good who have remained faithful and the evil cast into eternal furnace of fire. This is to say that the evil will never have the last word. They will not triumph over good, goodness must always triumph. The existence of evil is for a temporal moment.Let us be encouraged by this because Jesus by his death and resurrection has established the reign of God in the world and his kingdom will always flourish.
