Dear friends, standard is a level or means of determining the quality of something.Companies or industries have Standard with which their products are produced. It’s necessary to have standard to avoid fakes or substandard. Following God has its own standard. God’s standard is not of this world. St. Paul warns of conforming to the pattern of this world. God’s standard is self-denial, taking up the cross and following Christ. They are inseparable and indispensable. One who claims to follow Christ without these standard is a fake or substandard Christian. May God give us the courage to follow him not with our own standard but according to his. Happy Sunday
