The Presence of the risen Christ

April 30, 2017 1 min read

Dear friends, Christ has not only risen from the dead, he is always present among us. He accompanies us on our life  journey of faith.  We may not recognize his presence when we are more engrossed or preoccupied with our material or spiritual disappointments. And it could lead us to frustration and despair. But the risen Christ is ever present to us at all times and everywhere. In a particular way, he is invisibly present in his words in the Scriptures and the Eucharist. At each encounter, he opens our eyes and reveals himself to us. This Divine encounter transforms and empowers us to proclaim the Good news of his resurrection to our brothers and sisters. May he give us the courage to invite him to stay always with us. And may our encounter with him set our hearts on fire of his love. Amen  Happy Sunday

"The presence of the risen Christ" Ottimo! Thanks Onyeka for that beautiful piece about the presence of Christ in our midst. I quite agree that if we recognize his presence a lot of things will easily be sorted out. Keep up the ministry of the word in the digital continent. Christ is also present in the social media space which is the new areopagus, the 21st century agora, the contemporary forum and indeed the new village square, yes, the new African palaver. Your weekly reflections aid many of in hunger for the word, consolation and encouragement. I am reminded that Christ is ever present with me and will not abandon me. Plenti of thanks for this profound and elegant message yet presented in a simple way so that it reaches all. Keep it up. I meet you here every sunday. God bless you for this great service. Have a good Sunday

'The Presence of the Risen Christ' has drawn me to this state-of-the-art blog wherein I have encountered the manifestation of the Word Incarnate in living human reflections. In the presence of the risen Christ, every darkness is dispelled, every fear allayed, every discord resolved and every sin forgiven. Walls are pulled down and bridges built, hills are made plain and valleys filled up, friendship are initiated, strengthened and fulfilled in He who goes to Galilee to meet his friends and brothers. Just as his presence is not constrained to Galilee, so it is that He is everywhere with us. With faith, our souls are healed and our hearts set on fire in his touch. Fr. Kevin, your masterpiece renews in us the grace of commitment to He who lives and loves and saves. While praying for more life-transforming encounters with you here in this special forum, I also request your paternal blessings that the fire be kindled.

Christ promised "I will be with you till the end of time" and now the two exclaimed, "mane nobiscum Domine". His presence is our Blessed Assurance.
Thank you Fada for the "KISS" in the words of Pope Francis " Keep it short and simple".
Keep the good work on.

Inspiring and spiritually- fortifying Fr Solus

Indeed, God is ever presence in our midst if we avail ourselves the enabling atmosphere to notice him.

He promised to be with us till the end of time. So it's incumbent on us Christians to desire him since that's only when we can know of his presence.

I was recently introduced to this blog and must testify to its richness in reinvigorating my urge to always seek God. Keep it up Fr Kevin!
