Dear friends, Jesus’ victory over death is our victory too. His resurrection is our resurrection too. It is the basis of our faith. For if Christ had not risen’ our preaching would be useless and our faith in vain’. It is an assurance of our own future resurrection. It is a testament of hope, audacity to believe and encouragement that life lived in obedience to God’s will will not be worthless. It is equally an assurance that only love can change the world. This is because God’s love is stronger than hatred, violence, death and even our sins. Indeed, Jesus Christ has changed and conquered the world with his love. May the power of the resurrection resurrect us from our different tombs of spiritual deaths. May it transform us to be better witnesses to the gospel of Christ.
