Dear friends, God’s new and eternal covenant has been fulfilled in Christ through his passion, death and resurrection. He has exhibited through his example that he is the proverbial wheat that dies and to bear much fruit. In doing so, he has shown us that death is the condition of a new life. Our life will garner greater value before God and even man through selfless giving, sacrifice, and service. If the grains of selfishness and egocentrism do not die in us, we have only succeeded in living an unmeaningful life. May God give us the courage to live our lives in utter self-giving and service to him. Happy Sunday!

Death that gives Life!!!!!
What an allegory of the wheat 🌾 as presented in today's Gospel. What a nut shell deep seated reflection by Fr. Kevin. "If the grains of selfishness and ego-centrism do not died in us, we have only succeeded in living unmeaningful life."
Thanks for your reflection. The words of today energizes us to die so as to gain. Death is Gain.
